I am a proud millennial who has a love for beautiful lettering and sleek design. After working in healthcare for 10 years (and counting!), I decided to finally answer the persistent itch to live a more creative life. I listened to my inner artist and took a variety of calligraphy and design classes over the course of a year. In 2022, Mellie Rose Design LLC was born.
What is a "Mellie Rose"
you might ask?
I (Melissa Rose) was named in honor of my grandmothers, Mildred (Millie for short) and Rosela. Both taught me lessons in creativity, kindness, and perseverance. The name is a reminder of how my journey is built on those of my ancestors. My journey currently takes place in Colorado with my husband, two dogs, and an unamused cat.
